Ah..

Well, a good tribute. I heard about Strongbad but never actually took a look til viewing your tribute.
Your music video was whacked! (In a humorus style)

Creative way to mix two excellent episodes of Strongbad 'and friends. Cool stuff.

TheShrike responds:

Thanks, I've always thought that they should have been mixed. And if you want something done...

*applause* You did it again Vince.

Whoa, you got this one out pretty quick. Nice use of swish and the music for the intro. But now that I think about it, Could you have placed the text within the black box below the screen?

Storywise, great as always. Glad to see the action has hyped up from last time. Some "cut lines" for the slashes would be a nice addition.

The last thing I wanted to mention is adding the Music Credits somewhere. It would deem fitting for fans and is always nice to give credit to where its due. *cough* nobuo uematsu *cough*. :-)

I wasn't suprised you got another award, this is another quality flash.

Vinstigator responds:

Ok I added Ailsean in the credits at the end. Also, added Nobuo's name in under audio credits...seems like Ailsean overshadowed him lol. Glad you ejoyed it!

"I wasn't suprised you got another award, this is another quality flash."

Thanks :)

To be continued..

Glad to see this series continuation up and running again. I'm not sure of your reasons of having such a large blank space, but I'm guessing something with the issues of sprites.

Great story as usual, and your narrative skills are great. Your choice of music(s) was great. Lots of variation there. The only thing I can say is to try to stream your audio by creating scenes then mixing those scenes with one main scene then placing the audio to stream rather than event.

Good luck on your next one, i'm sure this one will likely win a award! :-)

Vinstigator responds:

Yeah I have long black screens cuz of the music. I can't stream in swish so I gotta make due. That would be cool if I won an award :)

Hey Great to see this tribute, Chevo Loco

Amazing job!! The drawings are excellente and the animation, was top notched. I'd never seen this show but from the effort and time you placed on this flash, it must have been of great influence on you.

Great stuff and I got to ask, do you have a drawing Tablet? haha, Viva la Latinogrounds!

CheveLoco responds:

yeah i have a drawing tablet..hehe it makes it way easier to draw than with a mouse

Life Art

Haha, well I must say the idea is completely new. Your character deplication is well done. The Lip syncing was good but needs a bit of tweeking, perhaps music during the drawings and such. Good luck on your next movie.

Its quite rare to see people of your age submitting flashes of good quality, haha.

Retox responds:

Yea well I have been doing it for nearly a year and when I started I was just like you thought a 13 year old would be like, but I always wanted something someone would actaully enjoy and could get involved in. I gave up on that a lot, but I finnally did something of a better quality. And about the music in the drawing sequence, well it didn't quite work out because a lot of it you couldn't hear, it all sort of clashed when I tried it, and the only reason I did it for the e-mail was because the person could actually read the e-mail.

Robotic Kinectics!

Wow, I have to say, that is a impressive trailer. Nice use of Vector graphics. What really impressed me was the flash interface of this movie and the walking cycle of the robot. I know that 3D Graphics accumaltes a large file size but this still was great. The Graphics of the Bot itself seems to have come from 3D Max with Vector Graphic Plug-in, is that so?

I like the choice of music and sound, very high quality though even that adds to the total file size.

Conclusion, a Suspensful trailer like no other!

s1nt3ch responds:

close :) i used maya it's what i learned in school and im more comfortable with it, but i never really got my hands dirty with max.. i should tho :P

The Pressure is on!

SDF: Wow, the horror of it all! Very sickening and well detailed. For 14 hours, it was an excellent short and pertains to your style (Horror) very well.

T0MMY: As I see it, symbolic. I really dig your F-B-B animation and the artwork. Your style also seems to associate with (Despair). The Ending was Unexpected but I see its reselembelence with your first scene. 8 hours!? Impressive work!

Livecorpse: Hmm well, not much in my taste but still I have to hand it to him for his style of artwork and animation. A sense of (Violence) as always! Congrats on your first Daily feature as well.

Eric Black: Haha, quite rampart. Seems like a surge of madness and (panic). Odd but Cool, for 2 hours, thats some fast progress!

Pressure on this Time Trial done you all good! :-)

T0MMY responds:

I love these nice reviews for each of the artists ;)
Yeah, some of the obvious symbolic stuff would be the knowledge being put in a case and passed on. And the gun from the back of the head is that knowledge used to overcome an hidden adversary. I'll leave all the rest up to the viewer ;)

Adventure unfolds!

Well, I'll comment on what I think.

The locks in the beginning requred its center "lock" piece to move about to stimulate a better transition of speech. Same could be said for StrawberryClock.

The Music needs to be compressed by all means, at least by streaming. A simple way is to make your new scene and paste all the frames of each scenes into your first scenes. Then setting the sound on "stream", should help out much. The Artwork still needs a bit of improving and the end was kinda lacking..

Good points of this film was the FPS rate. Sorry thats all I can see for now. :-) But lightsabers! Good to see that!

Just keep practicing and you'll produce a better result. Good luck.

Vaslious responds:

1)Lock motion- I agree and will correct

2)Music compression- I'll try that too, i'm still kinda iffy on using audio so i'll try getting a better output.

3)Artwork, i admit the background suck. The characters i drew and the other lock characters were fine, the back ground was lacking. The end is supposed to be a few mins but i was kicked off the comp and just sumitted what i had. I will correct these points.

4)FPS and Lightsabers- there will be and acutual battle eventually and the sound fx are on the way.

Thank you for this helpful review!

Furbys gone BAD..

Hahaha! That was great and unexpected. I really enjoyed it. The animation, artwork, choice of music, and story was great. A good Horror film! Great job!!

Violet-AIM responds:

Wow, thanks BahamutReborn!!! The thing about horror is that anything can be made to be scary... weird. I like your music (Dark Jazz), it has a soothing and relaxing atmosphere to it.

Great Comedy.

Amazingly done. The Time you spent on this is clearly visble. Nice usuage of frame by frame for the walking movement, very cool. I really like the jokes used in this. The Ending came quite suprisingly quick but must be me. Great Art, style, and animation!! You derserve daily feature.

Resembles somewhat to Tommorrow's Nobody but you have your own style to it. :-)

esspat responds:

thanks.

Strive to better yourself.
